It is full-bodied and lively in the glass with its fine perlage and wins you over immediately due to its fine scent of currants, blueberries and raspberries which awaken visions of a fine confectionary crème. Its incomparable, soft, juicy and mellow taste couples with the pleasant interplay of the contracts between the sweetness of the fruit and the slightly spicy nuance of the acid (Austrian grapes have a high level of acid and tannin, which both winegrowers have brilliantly mastered however). This pearly pleasure develops fully, roundly and pleasurably on the palate and displays the highest balance of aroma and taste.

Just like the wine, the Kerner Grappa the distillery Zu Plun smells very conservative, low-key. On the palate though, it is dry, full-bodied, and very present. In the end, this distillation exhibits a typical profile with a taste similar to nutmeg.
