Pinot Noir Riserva - 2018 - Winery Glassierhof - Stefan Vaja
Precisely because of its extreme slope, this very small vineyard is called Himalaya. The small terraces can only be worked by hand. In the shade of the "Königswiese", and on the steep west-facing slope, the Pinot Noir finds its second home. The French clones planted in 2007 bear very small grapes and the yield does not exceed 4,000 kg/ha. The grapes ripen in early September. Fermentation takes place in steel. The wine is then aged in barriques for 18 months.
