"According to tried and tested South Tyrolean tradition the by-hand collected cones of arolla pine are steeped in organic alcohol. Its completion the ""Zirmila"" gets with the refininement with organic beet sugar. The typical red color comes the sun-ripened arolla pine cones. The slightly fresh and nutty taste of this liqueur reminds of the scent of the arolla pine cone.The aftertaste is slighty aromatic.
Tip: Best to enjoy at a room temperature between 18 and 20°C.
Arolla pine is a typical plant of the alps. It only grows above a sea level of 1400 to 2100 meters and can have an age up to 1000 years.

This monastery bitter is made by steeping one-year-old cones and the tips of fresh shoots of dwarf pines (Pinus mugo) in brandy for approx. five months. This imbues the bitter with its typical resinous taste.
