Grape variety: Lagrein - Alto Adige DOC
Production area: hillsides around Tramin and Ora
Soils: clay
Wine-making: The grapes are destemmed and the must is macerated with the skins for one day, after which the mass is pressed. By this means the must absorbs only part of the grape's rich colour, yielding this typical seductive rosé wine.
Organoleptic characteristics: It is a typical South Tyrolean product and the perfect expression of this native vine, extremely delicious and easy to enjoy. Unlike numerous other insipid rose coloured wines, this is a rosé with strong personality, freshness, fragrant, similar to a fine white wine but with the rich fruit and roundness of a young red intended for early drinking. Bright and full rosé in colour, clear fruit on the nose, clear-cut and harmonious with fresh, mouth-watering acidity. A very seductive wine, best enjoyed at cellar temperature.
Goes especially well with: appetisers, smoked fish, white meats and bollito misto (mixed boiled meats)
Allergic-Info: This wine can contain sulfites Alcoholic content: 13.00 %
