VINTNERS COMMENT: A vivid stramineous color with greenish gleam. The flowery aromas remind of roses, cloves, nutmeg and ethereal flavours. The taste is harmonic, fresh and soft with a long persistant finish. BOTTLING:

Deion: Pinot Nero is a deep ruby red. In its early stages of maturation, it displays an intense bouquet with raspberry and marasca cherry aromas that develop hints of ripe red berries when fully mature. On the palate Pinot Nero is characterized by soft tannins exalting its typical smoothness, long finish and unparalled roundness. Deep garnet red in color, with a delicate bouquet showing the cherry note characteristic of the varietals; subtle wood tones complement its full and round fruit flavors. Compact tannins and an agreeable acidity carry this traditional South Tyrolean wine through to its long finish.
Color: deep ruby to garnet red with a delicate shimmer of violet. Smell: The aroma reveals earthy, minerally notes masterfully underpinned with fruit components, with morello cherry and plum jam dominating. Taste: These peaty, spicy and yet velvety fruit notes also intrigue the palate, where this Lagrein Riserva presents itself with multilayered opulence and great complexity.
