In so doing, they inherited a long tradition of wine-growing, which they nurtured in the spirit of a symbiosis of monastery, winery and estate that is still very much in evidence today. The result, in the 21st century, is a range of top-quality wines MURI-GRIES like the Abtei Muri line, which has been produced selected grapes the very best sites since 1989. The MURI-GRIES wine estate comprises 35 hectares of vineyards in excellent locations in and around Bolzano and Appiano. The monastery vineyards offer an outstanding terroir, combining excellent soils with a highly favourable climate.
Cuvée obtained selected grapes among the most typical of the Valle Isarco: Müller Thurgau, Sylvaner and Kerner . With its fresh, fruity and intense character the wine reflects the entire territory of the Valle Isarco.
Its varietal character produces a highly intensive scent and taste, reminiscent of very ripe fruit with nutmeg notes. Its discreet natural residual sweetness and pleasant acidity make it a popular aperitif wine.
Dark yellow color, intensive aromas of Muscat grape, medium body, fine dry taste
- light straw yellow - vibrant freshness of elderberry and gooseberry, hints of exotic fruits - clear and juicy palate of fruit, then mineral and crisp, the lingering is a dream of a fruit orchard
