Delicate fruit aromas reminiscent of Muscat, youthful freshness - an excellent aperitif wine. It is delicious with spicy hors d'oeuvres and fish.
>> dettaglio
Full yellow tinged with green; the bouquet is concentrated and fruity leading to a full mouth feel characterised by attractive orchard fruit flavours, hay and honey with crisp, refreshing acidity. Cellaring potential 3-5 years. Food Choices: A very food-friendly wine, try with a chicken pasta bake, a fish and chip supper, an apple and celery or seafood salad.
Brilliant straw yellow with a green shimmer. Quite pronounced and expressive aroma with flowery and somewhat spicy notes. Rich flavored in the mouth, with a slight smokiness at the back and a good, fresh finish.
Gewürztraminer is an intense golden colour with a deep bouquet of complex fragrances such as lychees and orange peels, cloves, nutmeg and roses. The wine needs a few moments in the glass to give the best of itself. On the palate it is stimulating thanks to its structure, freshness and vivacity, with a very persistent and slightly bitter aftertaste. Gewürztraminer reaches its full development only after several months of aging in the bottle.
Usually bright red, in some vintages this wine can display deep purple highlights. On the nose, the aromas are very intense and ample, with hints of ripe red berries, fresh grass, and violets. On the palate, it is velvety with good concentration and character and soft tannins. This wine goes wonderfully well with hearty fully-flavoured grilled red meat.
