Intense ruby red color. Elegant perfume reminiscent of violets and berries. Full and harmonious on the palate with a fragrantly fruity bouquet and a particular and unique character. It best expresses the characteristics of the mountain terroir where it is cultivated.
Grape varierty: 100% Lagrein.
Production area: Masetto. Guyot style vine training, along the fan-shaped delta of the Rio Faedo, above the Cantina Endrizzi. Chalky Dolomite soils with glacial deposits.
Vinification: Fermentation with maceration for 6-8 days in "Ganimede"- type tanks with soft and especially efficient remixing. Malolactic fermentation and short refinement in barrique so as to maintain the intense fruitiness typical for the Lagrein varietal.
Matching: Ideal with cold cuts, wonderful with red meat, fowl, and tangy cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential: 3 - 5 years.
