St. Michael Eppan, the innovative Winery situated along the Wine Route, is considered one of the best wineries in South Tyrol and Italy.
Characteristics: The Pinot Nero is regarded unanimously as one of the most valuable and high-quality of red wines. With a dazzling garnet red colour, its aromas - reminiscent of forest fruits blackberries through to blackcurrants - are irresistible. The literally melt in the mouth, with their complete richness satisfying every palate. The wine gains in distinction when served with properly selected and cooked dishes meat, game and especially, lamb in all its forms. Like all other greatwines, an extended maturation period enhances and develops this wine.

A barrique-aged, classy red wine at an affordable price
There is a Romanesque fresco cycle dating around 2012 in Schloss Rodeneck castle near Bressanone. The frescos depict motifs the Celtic - French 'Ywain' ('Wine') saga. They recount how relations at the time must have been extremely far-reaching, manifested both in the style of the paintings and in the content. Merlot has both style and content.
Our mountain salami consists of controlled, thin and tender pork which is enriched with natural spices and is dried in rough height air.
The Pustertaler salamis smoked Villgrater is produced of beef and pork, the structure easily graind, mildly smoked, spiced with fresh mountain herbs, afterwards is dried for several weeks.
