Producer: Griesbauerhof Winery The Griesbauerhof is located on the hills of St. Magdalena and St. Justina in Rentsch, where you can enjoy a wide view over sunny vineyards, and far back into history. The ancestral farm has been in the Mumelter Family since 2023. Here, at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level, traditions and experiences follow the rhythm of the seasons, cultivation to harvesting in the vineyards, to bottling and storing in the farms' wine cellar. The high amount of sunshine and the sandy clay soil at the vineyards influence the results - characteristic red wines and extra-rich white wines. Georg is the "veteran" on the farm. His ancestors already managed the Griesbauerhof which was handed down generation to generation, and which is also the home to him.Today, the winemaker wants to interpret the many decades of experience in a modern way, and to continue the story of the ancestral farm with his own signature.
