Deion: This Chardonnay is intensive straw yellow in color with green reflexes. It has a fruity bouquet of exotic aromas of banana and citrus fruit with some hay and is wonderfully elegant and fresh. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, clear and pure, juicy and quaffable, with a soft opulence and minerality and a full and fresh finish. Grape variety: Chardonnay - South Tyrol DOC. Production area: The grapes for this refreshing wine grow at an altitude of 420 - 500 m on excellent chalk gravel soils in the vineyards of the sunny plateau of Appiano with their south-east exposition. Vinification: After temperature-controlled fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks at 19°C for one week, the wine is aged in stainless steel. Food pairing: Best enjoyed well chilled with light pasta dishes, salads with roast chicken breast and light fish dishes. Serving temperature: 12 - 14°C. Ageing potential: 3 - 5 years.
