With a vibrant and bright yellow-green colour and a soft, fine perlage, this sparkling wine makes a striking impression; its elegant fruit flavours are highly fascinating and its finish is long and fine. Grape varierty: 60% Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco and 40% Pinot Nero, vinified in white. Production area: Marlengo, on a sloping hill (30-40% grade); morning sun exposure. Terrain: granite, slate, and gneiss, suffused with sandy loam. Vinification: Harvest during cool temperatures, temperature-controlled fermentation without SO2. After 6 months, bottling for second fermentation, ageing on the lees for a minimum of 24-36 months. Matching: An extremely elegant and simple sparkling wine, suitable for all occasions. Serving temperature: 6°C. Ageing potential: up to 2 years after disgorgement. Bottle to: 750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt. Allergens: wine can contain sulphites. Producer: Plonerhof Winery A family business, a single vineyard area, three vines, but countless genotypes: the Plonerhof estate in Marlengo aims for a very particular variability to occupy an extremely interesting niche. Also because the winemaker Erhart Tutzer wants to be "quality" in everything - the vine to the bottle. The vineyards of the Plonerhof estate cover 5 hectares, partly with a slope of up to 40%, where working is difficult and tiring. It is evident that in these conditions nothing is received as a gift.
