Visually striking for its brilliance and brightness, the color is straw yellow with a greenish hue. The scent is very variegated and elegant; floral notes (hawthorn and magnolia) and fruity notes (grapefruit and pineapple) linked and amalgamated by hints of vanilla on which the characteristic mineral notes are grafted with aging. The taste is fragrant, full-bodied and structured, articulated in scents that refer to olfactory sensations, but well balanced with a persistent aftertaste that fades to almond notes.
If you appreciate fresh, full-bodied white wines with a citrus note, you should try Monte Ceriani: wonderfully dry and present, with a fine almond aroma in the finish. Versatile food companion.
A pilgrim of the world successfully cultivated in both old and new wine regions, Sauvignon Blanc has adapted also to the climate of Trentino Alto Adige. Together with Cabernet Franc is the parent to Cabernet Sauvignon, which was created a spontaneous field crossing in Bordeaux, probably in the 18th century. That would already be enough to place it on top of the pyramid of the greatest international wine variety. Its intense and easily recognizable flavor has captured the attention of many consumers. Deor typically includes gooseberries, asparagus and many others “herbaceous†aroma (Methoxypyrazines). Our search for the authenticity of this variety has led us to the creation of Blanc.
When young, it is fresh, linear and furnished with great sophistication and elegance with delicate hints of white balsamic flowers, traces of apricot and almond. Time enables it to evolve, allowing the mineral notes to be expressed with greater determination, thereby acquiring its complexity with traces of iodates, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth, it is capable of enveloping the whole palate thanks to a significant savoury essence, accompanied by strong, exuberant acidity.
