"(Sangiovese): Helles Rubin, am Rand ins Granat tendierend. Feinduftige, sortentypische, anfangs etwas zurückhaltende Nase, der Wein braucht Zeit sich zu öffnen, sehr floral mit Veilchen-Noten, dahinter süsse Himbeerkonfitüre, viele Kirschen, auch eingelegte Kirschen, spannend und mit sehr guter Komplexität. Am Gaumen sehr weicher Auftakt, wirkt anfangs fast etwas harmlos, dann zeigt sich eine reife, rote Frucht, einiges an Lakritze, die Gerbstoffe sind markant, feinmaschig, die Säure ist sehr gut balanciert, allerdings drückt der Alkohol bei steigender Temperatur etwas gar stark durch. Der Wein hat Kraft aber doch erstaunlich viel Eleganz, endet langanhaltend auf Lebkuchen (Nelken und Zimt). Ein sehr guter Wein, kein Seiltänzer aber auch kein Blockbuster.
