The making of Schüttelbrot is inextricably entwined with the history of South Tyrol. This rustic family recipe has been handed down generation to generation. Our 'Bauern Schüttelbrot' is made with light rye flour and carefully improved with caraway and fennel - 100% natural crunching fun, of course.
Tasty, crunchy cheese snack refined with aromatic caraway seeds. Baked in the traditional method in a waffle iron, golden yellow, without added fats. Excellent with cheese and sausage as well as beer and wine.
On the southern slopes surrounding Bolzano, the Schiava and Lagrein grapes ripen, which this round red wine is made. The velvety taste and the typical aroma with hints of almonds and violets give character to this appreciated wine.
