Taste: Persistent, alcoholic, slightly sweet. Great harmony between the destillate and the woodruff. Fresh taste.
Alcoholic strength: 40% Vol.
Notes: Woodruff is a plant growing in the underwood, on an altitude of 600-700 m and is partularly appreciated for its digestive properties. The plant is generally harvested in May and afterwards left to infusion with fresh grappa and bottled with a branch of fresh woodruff. This grappa is further characterised by a fine and fresh herbal taste

Coarse grained beef and pork with a mark pepper, otherwise mildly and agreeable is the house salami of Steiner. These mould-matured salami is matured for approx. 6 to 8 weeks in controlled climate rooms.
Only selected pork legs which fulfil the strict criteria of the South Tyrolean bacon syndicate are used for the bacon. The spices are mixed even today by hand and give it's own note to the bacon. Also the pickle- and smoking process are vital for the good taste.
